“It’s good for the area. It’s good for the region.”
Tom Chernisky, County Commissioner

The second annual Johnstown Festival of Hope is building on the momentum of the highly acclaimed community event from 2016! Each night will featuring a pulsating live concert, concessions, local talent & bands, keynote talks from special guests, free giveaways, and prizes over the course of three packed days! The Festival of Hope is a community event designed to bolster unity & excitement in our city and hope for our future.

Some fast stats:

  • Festival is Friday—Sunday, September 15—17.
  • Each night will feature a pulsating concert and a special message of hope for our city.
  • Doors open at 5:30pm, the nights begin at 6pm.
  • Tickets are $5 per night, or $10 for all three nights! ($10 3-night discount is available only in advance, so be sure to take advantage of this offer before Friday, September 15!) Buy tickets here!
  • Each evening will be different than the night before, so you’ll want to block out your weekend to make sure you can be present at each one!

Adults, teens, and kids alike will enjoy the fun and vibrancy of the Festival and the theme of hope in Jesus. Hosted by local church New Hope Community Church (formerly CityReach Johnstown), one of the more inspiring signatures of the Festival is what can only be described as “miracles” that happen during & after the music and keynote talks: last year, there were literally dozens of cases of verified physical healing, including a man who discovered he no longer needed his oxygen tank, a boy whose scoliosis was suddenly cured, and excruciating, endless pain instantly gone. (Read some specifics here.) Along with the fun and encouragement, this more surprising aspect of the Festival is certainly an experience you don’t want to miss.

  • Confirmed!

    Johannes Amritzer

We are thrilled to welcome Johannes back for a second time as our keynote speaker! Johannes is the founder and president of Mission SOS, an international missions organization based in Stockholm, Sweden, that hosts citywide outreaches in Africa and around the world. He is renowned for being incredibly effective at rallying diverse crowds of people together and communicating a practical yet life-transforming message of hope.

In his message and infectious passion, Johannes regularly sees what can only be described as “miracles”: people abandoning their no-longer-needed wheelchairs and crutches, lost eyesight being restored to perfect vision, deaf ears suddenly being able to hear, and surprising financial breakthroughs, to name a few.
